1st XV overcome Doha, 2nd XV stumble and BaaBaas demolish

As we reach the business end of the season and we pick ourselves up from falling over a few hurdles the club as a whole look in a strong position. Sadly for the 2nd XV their unbeaten run up to Christmas was halted by Sharjah though they progressed into the Conference Top 6. From there another defeat against Sharjah and a 12-13 loss at the weekend to Jebel Ali Dragons means tha it looks like our 2nd XV will just miss out on a Final.

For the BaaBaas it was a stroll in the park at the weekend with a comfortable 65-0 win against UAE Shaheen, the local development side which follows recent wins against Al Ain and Dubai Sharks.

In the West Asia Championship the 1st XV have picked themselves up after a loss to crosstown rivals Saracens and recorded a comfortable 44-25 win over Doha this weekend and currently sit second in the table to Dubai Exiles. With a few matches still to go in the season there is still everything to play for as the top 2 teams qualify for the West Asia Champions League.

The Ladies and Juniors have also been having a storming end to the season with a number of wins at recent tournament appearances.
